Prayer
As is evident from our Horarium the recitation of the Divine Office (the daily Prayer of the Church) structures our day around Liturgical prayer. It is through this life of daily prayer that we are spiritually united with all others in the Church. Of central importance is the daily sacrifice of the Holy Mass during which our life and works are offered up to Christ. We also gather four other times daily to pray the Office of Readings and Morning Prayer, Midday Prayer, Evening Prayer and Compline.
Lectio Divina
This is the prayerful reading and
contemplation of Sacred Scripture. It has been practiced since the
earliest days of the Church and especially in monastic communities. We encourage this practice to foster a deeper knowledge and love of
God through His written word.
Meditation
Every morning we have time for silent
meditation. This is essential for developing a rich interior life in
union with Christ. It prepares us to praise God together in the
sacred liturgy. Meditation also fosters a state of recollection that
makes fruitful the times of silence during the day.

Eucharistic Adoration
Every day we adore Jesus Christ in the
Blessed Sacrament. This worship increases our love for the Eucharist
and draws us to the celebration of the Holy Mass with increased
fervour. It is through the commemoration of the Supreme Sacrifice
that salvation is accomplished.
